Bollywood actress Katrina Kaif returned home late last night, after a spiritual experience at the ongoing Maha Kumbh Mela.
The actress made headlines on Monday when she was spotted at Prayagraj with mother-in-law Veena Kaushal, where they were seen participating in the various sacred rituals. The actress returned home, twinning in shades of yellow with her mom-in-law. Videos from the airport captured her blowing flying kisses to her team before ushering Veena to their car and zooming off home.
The actress immersed herself in the rituals as was even seen engaging in a heartfelt conversation with Swami Chidanand Saraswati, president of Parmarth Niketan Ashram, and Sadhvi Bhagawati Saraswati. Speaking to ANI, she expressed her gratitude for being part of the revered event. "I am very fortunate that I could come here this time. I am really happy and grateful. I met Swami Chidanand Saraswati and took his blessings. I am just starting my experience here. I like the energy, beauty, and significance of everything. I am looking forward to spending the whole day here," she said.

Kaif also performed 'Annadaan' (food donation) as part of the religious traditions. The Swami highlighted the importance of Maha Kumbh, calling it an occasion of “Snan, Dhyan, and Daan” (holy dip, meditation, and charity).
Speaking about Kaif’s visit, he to reporters, "Today, she took a holy dip, meditated, and did Annadaan. She said that she sees God in everyone... Such a belief system keeps this nation alive."

The actress was among the many Bollywood celebrities who came forward to partake in the Maha Kumbh festivities. Raveena Tandon was also spotted with Kaif, performing the evening Aarti at the sacred gathering.
On Monday, actor Akshay Kumar was also spotted partaking in the rituals before making a quiet exit.
The grand religious celebration continues to attract millions of pilgrims from India and around the world, including well-known personalities from politics, entertainment, business and sports.
