Lauren Sanchez shared a post on
Instagram, giving a rare look at her writing space inside the $165 million Los Angeles home she shares with her fiancee
Jeff Bezos. “A little peek into the space where my words come to life. Everyone’s writing process is unique…there’s no right or wrong, just whatever works for you. I’d love to hear about yours,” the 55-year-old journalist captioned the post.
The video begins with Sanchez saying "I'm taking you to where I write almost every day”,adding “When I was a reporter in a newsroom, it was just packed with people, and you had to write with all this commotion going on, and I got really used to it and I love it, and sometimes I do go somewhere like a coffee shop to write.”
She goes on to say "But I've had a little writer's block with the second book, and I noticed that if I have a really calm, peaceful place, that I'm able to let all my ideas float through me easier than I could in a group. So, I'm really curious.”
“I think everyone writes differently, whether you're writing an Instagram post or you're writing a children's book, or you're writing a novel, a document for work. ... What's your process to write?,” she adds.
In the video, one can see the walls of the house painted in royal blue and adorned with photos of Sanchez and her loved ones on the table top. The dresser countertop matched the blue ceiling.
Lauren Sanchez flight with Blue Origin
Sanchez, who is set to tie knot with Amazon founder Jeff Bezos in Italy next month, recently flew in a Blue Origin spacecraft. She was joined by pop star Katy Perry, CBS journalist Gayle King, aerospace engineer Aisha Bowe, civil rights activist Amanda Nguyen, and film producer Kerianne Flynn. The six-member crew embarked on an approximately 11-minute flight, reaching the edge of space before returning to Earth.
Lauren Sanchez-Jeff Bezos wedding
The couple is reportedly preparing to tie the knot in a lavish ceremony in Italy later this year. The couple, engaged in May 2023, has been planning for two years, in what is now being termed as the most talked-about weddings of the year 2025.
Sánchez's brother Paul earlier told TMZ: "We don't have any details yet, like exactly where it's gonna be or anything like that”.
“I'm thrilled beyond belief,” he added. It is also rumoured that the wedding would be held on Bezos' $500 million yacht named Koru.
According to People.com, Venice Mayor Luigi Brugnaro has confirmed that the couple will host their nuptials in the historic Italian city. “We are mutually working and supporting the organizers, to ensure that the event will be absolutely respectful of the fragility and uniqueness of the city,” he said in a statement. Brugnaro added that only 200 guests will be invited and that the event wouldn’t disrupt the city.
