Last week, the New York Mets lost a tough series against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Now, they’re focused on their next games. They already won the first game against the St. Louis Cardinals and are getting ready for Game 2, which will take place on Sunday.

“Surgery has been recommended for Danny Young. He was placed on the 60-day IL.”Now, to manage the team, and in the span of just one week, five Mets pitchers have been placed on the 60-day injured list. Young was the most recent addition. Now, Carlos Mendoza has to evaluate how to fill the growing void in the bullpen and rotation. The list includes, Danny Young, Sean Manaea, Frankie Montas, AJ Minter, Brooks Raley.

Pitcher Dedniel Nuñez has been added to the active roster. He said:
