Popular host Stephen A. Smith recently appeared on the BigBoyTV podcast, where he spoke about how he feels about the entire situation concerning Shannon Sharpe.
Stephen A. Smith said, “I know the brother tells me he’s innocent. I believe him. I know that he does not trust easy, and that honest conversations that he’s had with me he wouldn’t have with just anybody.”
Shannon Sharpe’s former co-host, Stephen A. Smith continued, “I’m going to honor that, and I’m going to make sure that he knows and that everybody knows that no matter how things go down, not to say that he would rely on me, but if he ever chose to, anything that I can do for him as a friend I will do.”
While Stephen A. Smith shows full support for his former First Take’s co-host, a few days ago many fans believed Smith is trying to prove he is better than Shannon Sharpe.

A few days ago, Stephen A. Smith appeared on his YouTube show and made some controversial comments on Shannon Sharpe’s scandal.
Stephen A. Smith said on his YouTube show that, “Some people sit up there, look at me, and they say, ‘Stephen A. don’t get himself in this kind of trouble. How does he pull it off?’ Well, first of all. There’s certain behaviors and proclivities that you never have to worry about me engaging in.”
Fans had brutally slammed him for making such comments when Shannon Sharpe is already going through a tough time in his life.

A fan took to X and wrote, “Damn uncle,at least let the case come to a conclusion”, while another fan wrote, “Another black man tearing down another black man for clout !”
A third fan posted, “SAS been waiting for this moment since Shannon joined ESPN”, while another fan commented, “SAS just put the Axe on Shannon's career at ESPN... He definitely can't come back now…”
Shannon Sharpe has made multiple statements on his social media and through his lawyers, where he has claimed that the relationship he shared with the young woman was “consensual”. The NFL legend is yet to react to Stephen A. Smith’s comments.
